One of the favourite dohas of Kabir Das  for Radha was this  :  *गुरू गोविन्द दोऊ खड़े, काके लागूं पांय।बलिहारी गुरू अपने गोविन्द दियो बताय।।गुरू और गोबिंद (भगवान) एक साथ खड़े हों तो किसे प्रणाम करना चाहिए – गुरू को अथवा गोबिन्द को? ऐसी स्थिति में गुरू के श्रीचरणों में शीश झुकाना उत्तम है जिनके कृपा रूपी प्रसाद से गोविन्द का दर्शन करने का सौभाग्य प्राप्त हुआ।Kabir had greater regard for teachers. He opined if teacher ( Guru) and God appear before us at the same time, whom do we greet / salute  first. He was of the opinin that guru  be greeted  first. Because it is from the teachings of a teacher, that we get the way to reach God. Without teacher's guidance,  we are afraid, we can not find path to the Almighty. So he kept teacher in higher esteem compared to God.... आवत ही हरषै नहीं ,  नैनन नहीं सनेह। तुलसी तहां न जाइये,  कंचन बरसे मेह।Couplets of   Goswamy Tulsi Das were often quoted by Radha.She used to quote this whenever she heard of her friends' unhappiness over their unfriendly neighbours. She used to advise them not to enter their homes when they were not welcome. When you dont see any iota of happiness in the inmates' hearts on your entry in a home, and when you dont see friendliness in their eyes, Tulsidas ji suggests Never enter that house.Never enter that house even when in that house it rains tons of gold, lot of wealth etc.What all matters is, are you welcome there, are the hosts feel happy and enthusiastic to receive you and  are you respected duly  by all of them, and do their eyes sparkle in seeing you and is there a warmth in the ambience in that home. If all these are absent, we should never go there even when it rains gold and wealth. It is not called a home. It remains a house.As we know house is built by bricks and cement and a home by warmth, friendly atmosphere and happy hearts.Like when Sri Krishna goes to Duryodhan, he eats at Vidura's home avoiding delicious food items offered by Duryodhan.इस दोहे के माध्यम से तुलसीदास जी कह रहे हैं कि कोई भी ऐसा स्थान जहां पर अपार धन संपदा हो, जहां भव्यता हो, आलीशान वस्तुएं हों, परंतु वहां आपका मान-सम्मान ना हो और वहां आप के प्रति किसी के हृदय में प्रेम न हो, स्वागत का या मित्रता का भाव न हो तो ऐसी जगह पर कदापि नहीं जाना चाहिए.इस दोहे के भावार्थ से संबंधित हमारे पास दो उदाहरण है जिससे इसका अर्थ और गहराई से समझा जा सकता है.एक- जब महाभारत में भगवान कृष्ण ने दुर्योधन के महल के पकवानों को छोड़कर विधुर के घर साथ खाया था.दूसरा- जब गुरु नानक देव जी ने एक अमीर व्यापारी 'मलिक भागों' के पकवान ठुकरा कर एक गरीब 'भाई लालो जी' के घर भोजन ग्रहण किया था.अतः जिस स्थान पर आप का सत्कार ना हो, आप को यथोचित सम्मान ना मिले, आपको प्रेम ना मिले… अथवा हम कह सकते हैं कि जिस स्थान पर व्यक्तियों के हृदय के भाव शुद्ध एवं प्रेमल ना हों उस स्थान पर कदापि  नहीं जाना चाहिए.... శకర్ నగర్ లోని బాలభవన్ లో బాల బాలికల దినోత్సవం 14 నవంబర్ నాడు జరుపుకుంటున్నారు. సాయంత్రం 6.30 గం II లకు ప్రారంభం అవుతుంది అన్నారు. సాంస్క్రతిక కార్యక్రమాలు అంటే పిల్లల నృత్యాలు, సంగీత ధ్వనులు, చిన్ని చిన్ని నాటికలు జరిగే కార్యక్రమం అది.5.30 గంట ల నుండి అక్కడ ఏర్పాటు చేసిన కుర్చీల్లో ప్రేక్షకులు ఆశీనులవడం మొదలైంది. నా చిన్న కొడుకు కూడా ఆనాటి సంగీత కచేరి లో ఉన్నాడు కావున నేను ఒక్కడినే  వచ్చి ఓ కుర్చీలో కూచున్న. కొంత సేపటి తర్వాత బోధన్ టెలిఫోన్ office head Telecom ఇంజనీర్, తన భార్య పిల్లలతో వచ్చి,( అంతకు ముందే నాకు తెలుసు కనుక ) నా పక్కకే కూచున్నారు. తన భార్య కు నన్ను  వాణీ మనోహర్ గారు, MMDC ప్రిన్సిపల్ గా పరిచయం చేసారు. ఇద్దరం  కుశలప్రశ్నలు వేసుకున్నాము. ఎక్కడి అతనో బదిలీ పై వచ్చి బోధన్ టెలిఫోన్ ఆఫీస్ లో పని చేస్తున్నాడు కాబట్టి తనకు ఈ బాలభవన్ గురించి, అక్కడికి వచ్చిన ఇంజనీర్లను, వేరే ఆఫీసర్లను అప్పుడప్పుడు పరిచయం చేస్తూ ఉన్నా. ఇంతలో కార్యక్రమం ప్రారంభం కానున్నదని ప్రకటించారు. దాంతో సభికుల్లో ని మాటల అలజడి తగ్గి కొంత ప్రశాంతత ఏర్పడింది. అందరి దృష్టి ఇప్పుడు స్టేజి పైకి మళ్ళింది. అంతలోనే పింక్ కలర్ చీర, తగినట్టుగానే మాచింగ్ కలర్ బ్లౌజ్ తో ఒక 40 ఏండ్ల ఆవిడ మైక్ ముందుకు వచ్చి " Good evening Ladies and gentlemen. ఈ బాల భవన్, శకర్ నగర్ తరఫున మీ అందరికి సహృదయం తో స్వాగతం పలుకుతున్నాను. ఇది బాల్ భవన్ కనుక ఇందులో పాల్గొనే వారు అందరూ బాల భవన్ సభ్యులే  మరియు బాల బాలికలే. చిన్న తనంలో చేసే చిలిపి పనులు, వారి అమాయకత్వం, చిరు కోపాలు, చిరు నవ్వులు అన్నీ మీకు వారి వారి అభినయాల్లో కనిపిస్తాయి....."  అంటూ తన ప్రారంభోపన్యాసం మొదలు పెట్టారు. "ఎంత చక్కటి భాష అండి తనది. "  పక్కన ఉన్న తన భర్త తో అనడం నాకు వినిపించి వారి దిక్కు చూసినా. పక్కన ఉన్న  టెలీకామ్ ఇంజనీర్ మరియు తన భార్య మొహం లో  చిరు నవ్వు తో పాటు చిన్ని ఆనందం తొణికిసలాడినట్టు కనబడింది. నా వైపు తిరిగి  " ఎంత శ్రావ్యమైన గొంతు sir ఆవిడది.  చాలా చక్కని భాష, స్పష్టంగా పలికే తీరు చూసి ముగ్ధుల మయ్యామ్  అంటే నమ్మండి. చాలా ఆనందం కలుగుతున్నది. ఎవరండీ ఆవిడ" ? అని ఆ టెలీకామ్ ఇంజనీర్ చాలా మెప్పుకోలుగా అంటుండే. " అవునా sir అంత బాగా అనిపిస్తుందా మీకు. చాలా thanks అండి. ఆవిడ నా భార్యే " అని చెబితే మరింత సంతోషం తో , " చూశావుటే  ! ఆవిడ మన ప్రిన్సిపల్ గారి భార్య నట. ఎంత అదృష్టం sir మీది " అన్నడు. ఆవిడ కూడా తల ఊపుతూ ఆ మెప్పుకో లును బలపర్చింది. నాకే చాలా ఆశ్చర్యం వేసింది మరియు చాలా ఆనందం కలిగింది. ఒకింత గర్వపడిన కూడా. నేనెవరో ఆ ఇంజనీర్ కు తెలుసు కానీ ఆవిడేవరో తనకు తెలియదు గదా. ఆనాడు రాధకు చెబితే,  " మీకే అనిపించిందేమో.  అట్లా ఎందుకంటారెవరైనా" అని నమ్మలే. ఎపుడో కొన్ని రోజుల తర్వాత మన ఇంట్లో phone పెట్టడానికి వచ్చినపుడు ఆ సారే చెబితే గానీ నమ్మలే. ...                                            Strange things happen in life !!* I was to show Shivalayam in Bodhan to my sweetheart when she came first time to Shakarnagar after our marriage. One day we went to Bodhan on foot, of course, just walking watching in the streets of Bodhan bus stand. Cloth shops, steel shops, chappal shops and all types of shops were there. Gupta Bros and Balaji Steel shops were famous that time. After visiting those shops and that Bodhan chowrasta, I wanted to take her to Shivalayam and so we went beyond chowrasta and Kondaiah shop,  where all types of firewood, and teak wood and plywood etc was available.While I was taking a right turn beside the Bodhan Hospital, one student was coming in a speed by a bicycle. Looking at me he, at once applied brakes suddenly and jumped on to the ground from cycle and started walking with the cycle. He said " Namaste sir ",  and looking at her "Namaste madam".  I very much remember he was Mr Shivraj, Second year  English medium student ,  Degree college.   My wife was ekdum surprised to observe the discipline of the boy. She saw him walk with the cycle for some more time even after he crossed us. Then he climbed on to his cycle and went away. " Do all your students do the same when they see you ? " She asked curiously. " Yes . Of course. All our Madhu Malancha students are highly disciplined " I said feeling elated and thought of raising my collar,  thanking the student in my thoughts for leaving an indelible impression of the students, in general, on my wife.Well  ! we moved further and took a left turn. I saw the roof of a quarter there in the hospital. Told Radha that we were walking beside the hospital compound wall and now we were walking behind the hospital. I showed the quarter, now in a dilapidated condition but that portion was not visible as the compound wall hid it from our sight. I added saying " this is the quarter where the resident doctor lives in." To that her reply was  " Yes I know, the resident doctors would be given quarters and they live there so that the doctors  are easily accessible to the patients. That way, we spent very good time in Nampally quarter and other quarters in Govt. hospitals. And continued asking " Is this really that quarter "?.I replied her in the affirmative.  Then she continued saying," you might not know , this is the quarter where my childhood of one year was spent."  " Ehe ! How come you lived here " ? Not believing her, I questioned her.To which she started narrating that her maternal uncle was  a medical officer and he worked in Nizamabad too. And that in fact she was born in Nizamabad hospital, as he was working there that time in 1957. After a couple of months he came to Bodhan on promotion and he was a resident medical offficer. So he shifted his family including his sister and the little baby in arms. from Nizamabad to Bodhan. That was how she happened to live in this same quarter which I was  showing. And that she also lived for some time in Banswada as well.I was stunned listening to all  that she was telling and I was in disbelief. I thought why should she lie to me. She was an innocent person who doesnt know how to tell lies.  It was a shocking news to me that my wife came to live with me in Bodhan for quite few more years, was born and spent her childhood in the same place where she lived for 33 long years.It was only then that I came to learn her birth place and hopsital and not before.  Offo  ! What and how , we dont know,  but  strange things happen in life !!... Show Less

నేను శక్కర్ నగర్ కు వచ్చిన కొత్తలో అక్కడి వాతావరణం నాకు చాలా నచ్చింది. సహచర లెక్చరర్ లు, వారి భార్యలు, మా పొరుగున ఉన్న ఫ్యాక్టరీ అధికారులు, వారి సతీ మణులు అందరూ చక్కగా, సరదాగా మాట్లాడుతూ స్నేహ పూర్వకంగా ఉండేవారు. తరచుగా ఇక్కడ అందరూ కలుస్తారనీ, pot luck dinner లు ఏర్పాటు చేసుకుంటారనీ, సాంస్కృతిక కార్యక్రమాలు, విద్వత్ సభలు కూడా జరుగుతాయనీ  చెబితే విని చాలా సంతోషం కలిగింది.అలాంటి ఒక సభ గురించే ఇప్పుడు చెబుతున్న. వివాహం అయి  మూడు, నాలుగు ఏండ్లు అయిన గృహిణులను అందరినీ,   ఓ మహిళా దినోత్సవం నాడు  ఒక దిన పత్రిక వారు (  ' కేకలు '  అనుకుంట ) సభ ఏర్పాటు చేసి పిలిచారు. నాకు ఇలాంటి సభలకు  పోవడం, ఎప్పుడూ ఇష్టం లేకుండే. నేను చక్కటి తెలుగు భాష మాట్లాడతానని, కంఠం కూడా బాగానే ఉంటుందని, నేను మాట్లాడితే దాని ప్రభావం సభలో పాల్గొనే వారందరిపైన ఉంటుందని ఎవరో  NSF అధికారుల్లో ముఖ్యు లు ఆ పత్రిక వారికీ చెప్పారట.( అట్లా అని నాకు 3,4 నెలల తర్వాత గాని తెలియరాలేదు. )అందుకని నన్ను కూడా ఆహ్వానించారు. మా వారికి చెబితే , దానికేముంది మంచిగా మాట్లాడతావు కనుక పిలిచి ఉంటారు. వెళ్లి నీకు నచ్చింది, తోచింది మాట్లాడి రావచ్చుగదా అన్నారు. " అదేంటండి, అట్లా అంటారు. నేను ఇట్లాంటి సభలకెప్పుడు వెళ్ళలేదు, మా నాన్న గారు చాలా strict. ఆడవాళ్ళను బయటికే వెళ్ళనీయరు ఇంక దానికి తోడు ఉపన్యాసం ఇచ్చుడా ? Never it happens"  అన్న.పక్కనే ఉన్న  NSF ఆఫీసర్ భార్య " అదేంటమ్మా  ? అలా అంటావు ? నీకో అవకాశం వచ్చింది అత్తయ్య గురించి చెప్పడానికి. వెళ్ళు. వెళ్లి అదే చెప్పు. రెండు నిముషాలు మాట్లాడి రా" అని నచ్చ చెబితే ధైర్యం చేసి వెళ్ళి నాను.మధు మాలాంచ డిగ్రీ కాలేజీ ఆవరణలో   ప్రిన్సిపాల్ ఆఫీస్ ఎదురుగ ఉన్న  గదిలోనే సభ ఏర్పాటు చేసారు.మా నాన్నకు తెలిస్తే ఇంకేమన్నా ఉన్నదా ?  అత్తగారింటికి పోయినాక ఇట్లాంటి పిచ్చి వేషాలు కూడా వేస్తున్నావా ? అని అంటాడేమోనన్న భయం తోనే సభలో కూర్చున్న.స్టేజి పైకి ఒకరి తరువాత ఒకరిని పిలుచుకుంటూ  పోవడం తో సభ ప్రారంభ మైంది.  నేను ఇట్లాంటి సభలో పాల్గొనడమే  ఓ విచిత్రం అనుకున్నా.  కాని నన్ను కూడా స్టేజి మీదకు  ఆహ్వానించగానే, నాకైతే తల కాయ తీసేసినo త పని అయింది. నేనేంటి , ఇక్కడ ఇంత మందిలో నేను స్టేజి మీదకు  పోవడమేంటి  ? అంతా అగమ్య గోచరంగా  ఉండింది. సరే . తప్పేటట్టు లేదు. నేనేం తప్పు చేసినా మా వారికి చెడ్డ పేరు వస్తదని, సారు భార్య ఇట్లా చేసింది,  అట్లా చేసిందని అనుకుంటారని  క్రమ శిక్షణ తో బుద్దిగా కూర్చున్న.  ఉపన్యాసాలు మొదలైనవి. మొదటి అమ్మాయి వచ్చి, తన భర్త  తనను ఎంతో మంచిగా చూసుకుంటాడని చెపుతూ, తన అత్త  మాత్రం ఏక్ దం రాక్షసి అని, తనను ఎదిరిoచడం  తన వల్ల అవడం లేదనీ, సినిమా ల్లో సూర్యకాంతం ను ఎవరైనా ఎదిరించారా ? అంతే. తన పరిస్థితి కూడా అదే.  ఇంటిలో ఉన్న అందరికీ చాకిరీ చేయడం తన వల్ల కాదనీ దాదాపు మొర పెట్టుకున్నంత పని చేసింది. తన అమ్మ, ఇంత పనిని భార్య తో చేయించుకుంటున్నా, తన భర్త వాళ్ళ అమ్మను మాత్రం పల్లెత్తు మాట కూడా అనడు. తననే సరుదుకు పొమ్మంటాడు. ఇట్లాంటివన్నీ చెబుతూ అత్త యొక్క క్రూరత్వాన్ని బయట పెట్టి తన ధాటి ని ముగించింది. ఇక రెండో అమ్మాయి తన అత్తతో ఉన్న కష్టాలు, గోడు అంతా వెళ్ళబుచ్చింది. అత్తనే కాదు, ఈ అమ్మాయి భర్త కూడా వేధించడంలో దిట్ట అనీ, అత్త ముసలావిడ కాకున్నా కాళ్ళు ఒత్తించుకుంటది, స్నానం పోయించుకుంటది, ఇదేం పోయే కాలమో, ఒళ్ళు గట్టిగానే ఉన్నా తన తో ఎందుకు చేయించుకుంటదో, అది ఎప్పుడు చచ్చి పోతదో అని ఎదిరి చూద్దామంటే, ఇంకో ఇరవై ఏండ్లు బతికేతట్టే ఉన్నది అనుకుంటూ, అత్త మీద శాపనార్థాలు పెట్టుకుంటూ ముగించింది తన అత్త పోరు గురించిన ఉపన్యాసం. ఇట్లా ఈ అమ్మాయిలు చెప్పుకుంటూ పోతుంటే, " అబ్బా ! చూసారా  ఎంత పొగరు బోతు అత్తలో, ఇట్లాంటి వాళ్లకు తగిన శాస్తి జరగాలే "  అనీ మధ్య మధ్యలో ఒకరిద్దరు తమ తమ అక్కసు పక్క వాళ్ళతో వెళ్ళ బోసుకున్నారు.మరో అమ్మాయి ఉపన్యాసం అయినాక  నా వంతు వచ్చింది. ఇదేంటి ?  నా కంటే ముందు మాట్లాడిన వారు తమ తమ అత్తయ్యల ను గయ్యాళి గానే వివరించారు. అంతే కాబోలు.  వాళ్ళ అత్తయ్య లు అలాగే ఉన్నారేమో ? అనుకుంటూ లేచి మైక్ ముందుకు వెళుతుంటే" రాధ గారు మీరు భయ పడ కుండా, నిర్మొహమాటంగా  ఉన్నది ఉన్నట్టు చెప్పండి"  అని, అధ్యక్షురాలు నన్ను చూసుకుంటూ అన్నది. నేను లేచి గొంతు సవరించుకుని, చక్కని సంబోధన తర్వాత అసలు ఉపన్యాసం మొదలు పెట్టిన. " మా అత్తయ్య కు వినమ్రపూర్వక నమస్కారాలు. పూర్వ జన్మలో ఎంతో పుణ్యం చేసుకున్నానను కుంటా,  మా అత్తయ్య లాంటి మంచి మనిషి నాకు దొరకడం నా సౌభాగ్యమే అని తలుస్తాను".  నా భాషణం ప్రారంభించాను. ఆ హాల్ అంతా కొంత విచిత్రమైన నిశ్శబ్దం ఆవరించింది. ఈవిడెంటి ఇలాంటి మాటలతో మొదలు పెట్టింది?  మొదలు ఉత్తమంగా ప్రారంభించి, తర్వాత అదంతా ఉత్తదేనని అంటుంది కాబోలు అని కొంత మంది అనుకున్నారట. " పెళ్ళి అయి అత్తగారింటికి రాగానే మరుసటి రోజునే వంటింట్లోకి వెళ్లి మూడు నాలుగు కట్టెలు పొయ్యిలో పెట్టిన.   ( మా వారింట్లో కట్టెల పొయ్యి మీదనే వంటంతా. నాకు ఆ కట్టెలు మండాలంటే ఎట్లా పొయ్యి ముట్టియ్యాలో తెలువదు). అవీ ఎట్లా మండుతాయో నాకు తెల్వక దిక్కులు చూస్తుంటే, మా అత్త  గారు వచ్చి  " బిడ్డా ! నీకు ఈ కట్టెల పొయ్యి విషయాలు తెలువదే, నువ్వు ఈ వంటింట్లోకి అసలు రాకు. బడికి పోయే పిల్లలకు అన్నం అన్నం వడ్డించడంలో నీకు తోచిన సహాయం చేద్దూ గానీ,"   అని నాతో ఏ పని చేయించలే. మా అత్తయ్య చాయ్ లు పెడితే అందరికి అందించడం, బంధువులు  ఎవరైనా వస్తే నమస్కారం పెట్టి, వారికి నీళ్ళివ్వడం మాత్రమే నేను చేసే పని  అని వివరిస్తుంటే, " అంతగా అత్తగారిని పొగడక్కర లేదండీ "  అని ఎవరో వెనుకనుండి మెల్లిగా అనడం వినిపించింది. ఇంట్లో ఎంతో పని ఉన్నా, " ఈ ఇంటి పనులు ఎప్పుడూ ఎడ తెగవు గానీ , మీరిద్దరూ ఏదైనా ఓ సినిమా కు పోయి రండే"   అంటూ మమ్ములను సినిమా కు బయలు దేరే వరకు విడువలేదనుకోండి.  ఇట్లాంటివే  ఇంకా రెండు, మూడు విషయాలు అత్తయ్య తన కోడలును ఎంత బాగా చూసుకుంటుందో వివరంగా చెప్పగలిగిన..తర్వాత తెలిసింది ఆ పత్రికల వారు, " ఎవడ్రా ఈవిడను పిలిచింది, మన ప్రోగ్రాం అంతా ఖరాబ్ అయింది ఈవిడ ఉపన్యాసం వల్లే " అని గద్దీoచి  అరిచారట." మా అత్తయ్య లాంటి వాళ్ళు అందరూ ఆడ పిల్లలకు దొరకాలనీ అందరూ అత్తా కోడళ్ళు స్నేహితుళ్ళ లాగానే ఉండాలని కోరుకుంటూ ముగిస్తాను"  అని మా అత్తయ్య తో నా కున్న గౌరవం, మర్యాద, సాన్నిహిత్యం గురించి తెలిపి నా ఉపన్యాసం ముగించిన. . ఒకరిద్దరు మాత్రమే చప్పట్లు కొట్టడం విన్నా. ఆ తరువాత జరిగిన స్నాక్స్ time లో  ఆ పత్రికల వారు " మీరిలా అత్తల వైపే మాట్లాడతారనుకుంటే మిమ్మల్ని పిలవకనే పోదుం madam "  అనడం కొస మెరుపు....      I deem it a privilege to relate myself with MS Radha as my cousin-in-law.My introduction to her can be traced back to the year 1981at Shakarnagar .For the reason of my employment for a shortwhile spanning for 6 months, I'm fortunate enough to visit her home on holidays and spend quality time in thought provoking interactions on varied subjects followed by mouthwatering dishes served with utmost affection and belongingness.     Our next meet could happen after 42 long years, when I visited their home to extend wedding invitation of my daughter and I delighted to feel same old hospitality of warmth with loving words from her as to well being of ours.     On 13th May,2023,  I was very happy to receive Vadina and Annayya at Marriage ceremony at Kottakonda and together we has  a sweet conversation over the breakfast.      My short but sweet memories  with  Vadina  has made me to learn that relationships and bondings and being human only matters in life .This principle made her to be a sought after person by all ....
