Late Mr.Korna Krupavaram and I were hostelmates and schoolmates at Wesley Boys High School.
Later, we were collegemates at Siddipet while Late Rev. Korna John garu was the presbyter.
Family and friends lovingly called him 'Krupi'. During our college days at Siddipet, Krupi and I met almost every day. Krupi's parents, and siblings Madhu Akka, Jayanna, Deenanna, Mary, Sagar, and Thara were very understanding of our friendship. After Krupi's dad Late Rev.Korna John garu was transferred and left Siddipet, we continued our friendship. I used to visit Krupi at Mittapally where Madhu Akka was posted. Krupi and I were very close. I had an opportunity to observe his philosophical nature, disciplined life, and his dedication to sports. He was the topmost sportsman in Medak at the district level sports meets. He used to practice for his track and field events consistently.
Krupi was captivated by the role of an honest civil engineer, played by Dharmendra in the movie Satyakaam. A few of his favorite songs were from movies such as Upkar, Dhund, Shor.
Krupi was a minimalist. He was very content, and believed in living a simple life, free from want, show, and pomp. He was quiet, honest, thankful, and appreciative.
I am proud of Krupi's dedication to the cause of education. I visited his school in Chegunta during its inception. I am sure the staff and students of Deepthi Vidyalam will share testimonies of their journey together from a single classroom to a full-fledged high school.
I was blessed immensely by Krupi's quiet ways, his companionship, the adventures we shared, and our friendship.
I am thankful to Tecnolynx for providing Tributes-Forever a platform to share tributes, stories, memories, pictures to celebrate Krupi's life and legacy.
My thoughts and prayers are with Krupi's daughters Deepthi, Sahana, sons-in-law, grandchildren, his siblings, in-laws, nieces, nephews, the staff and students of Deepthi Vidyalayam.
May the promises of eternal life, reunion with our departed loved ones in Heaven give us hope.
Krupi, you continue to live in our hearts.
Rest in eternal peace...
